Hello Moya

Month In Review: January 2024

Where is time rushing to? We just entered the new year and just like that 31 days are gone? Phew, but I am thankful to be alive.

Here is a little summary of what happened in January 2024. This year I will try to document my life into writing as well as media files.

WHAT HAPPENED IN JANUARY

First thing first, I turned 24. Thank you to my parents and to God because those 3 really are patience and did a great job, I can be an headache sometimes.

I CELEBDATED MY BIRTHDAY

Unlike the previous 3 years, this year I celebrated my birthday and I was somehow excited. I ordered the cake pretty earlier from an Instagram baker.

It was very delicious and would definetely recommend it to everyone living in Dallas Forth-Worth. I then had dinner with my closest friends: Davidzo, Oyin, and Kofo at Casa Pollastro. It went all good and the girls made the day even more better for me.

I STARTED AND STAYED CONSISTENT WITH MY BIBLE

This was not an easy task, in fact on some days, I would want to skip and get busy with other things but the devil lied.

BACK TO SCHOOL WITH A NEW STYLE

I finally gave a try to the “chic and classy” outfits style. I spent weeks looking for inspiration on Pinterest and shopping.

GOT SOME FRESH FLOWERS

We keep the good habits, right? I try to always buy myslef flowers at least once or twice a month. It’s not just for the aesthetic, I really love it – It helps me feel better and grown. You should do that too.

WHAT I ATE/COOKED

I unfortunately did not cook much in January; if I could count the amount of time a touch the stove, I would say 5… or less.

WENT BABY-CLOTH-SHOPPING

My brother and his wife gave birth to my 7th nice later december, and as a good auntie, I wetn baby shopping. I still can’t believe my sister-in-law trusted me for this important task: My mom and sister would never, haha.

THINGS I DID NOT DO

Beginning of this new year, I told myself I would save more $$$ and spend less $. I did not fulfil this mission in January. It is a very dificult task especially when you live with the YOLO mentality. I truly hope to do better in February.

I did not find my way to church, though I said I would. What a shame.

I did not open a single book. I tried to go back to reading but TikTok doesn’t allow me to – I will be working on that.

And that’s all for January!
